Where Young Performers Find Their Voice
At Magical Days Theatre School, we explore a range of acting, singing and dance techniques to teach children how to perform on stage. Above all, we help them build dynamic characters and deliver believable performances.
We offer weekly theatre classes, private and small group sessions, lunchtime and after-school clubs, as well as our exciting four-day Musical Theatre Summer School each August.

Weekly Theatre Class
Lights, camera, action! Every week, children join a fun-filled theatre class where imagination takes centre stage. From dramatic storytelling and character building to confidence-boosting games and performance skills, our sessions are perfect for children who love to act, sing and dance or simply express themselves.

Our 30-minute solo or small group sessions are led by Miss Amy Jane, founder of Magical Days Theatre School, who holds a First-Class BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. These tailored sessions focus on performance preparation for upcoming shows, festivals and events.

Musical Theatre Summer School
Four magical days of singing, dancing, acting and prop-making on the stage at Bradworthy Memorial Hall. Afterwards, children perform in a celebratory showcase for their families on the final day.

Founded by Musical Theatre Graduates
Did you know? Our founders, Miss Amy and Miss Lauren, both graduated with First-Class BA Honours Degrees in Musical Theatre. Their journey also included performing in Anything Goes and experiencing life on tour.
Now, they bring their passion and expertise to inspire the next generation of performers at Magical Days Theatre School. Meanwhile, Miss Roisin leads our Sunday class in Barnstaple, bringing her background in dance and singing.
Curtains Up: A Magical Musical Adventure
On 11 July 2027, our theatre stars will take to the stage at The Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple. So join us this term and be part of the show.
Theatre School FAQs
What age is Magical Days Theatre School for?
Our classes are for primary school-aged children. All of our theatre classes, including our private sessions, are for children aged 4 to 11.
Does my child need any experience?
Not at all. Our classes are fully inclusive, so every child is welcome whether they’re a confident performer or trying theatre for the very first time.
Do parents stay during the class?
No. Instead, you can drop your child off and collect them at the end. We also hold special viewing days, usually at the end of term, so you can see their progress.
How do I book a private session?
Private and small group sessions run by prior appointment only. So simply call or email us to arrange a time.
