The inspiration Behind Magical Tots
Miss Amy has always been passionate about the arts, recognising the joy and huge benefits they have brought to her life. Her love for performing began at age three, singing Spice Girls tracks on her karaoke machine and participating in school shows and local amateur dramatics productions. After relocating to Devon, Miss Amy founded Magical Tots in 2022, dance classes and theatre school for young children, for her then 18-month-old daughter, Beau Valentine, after struggling to find a fun age-appropriate local dance class for her.
With a background in performing arts and teaching, Miss Amy combined her passions to create a magical space where children could build confidence, explore creativity and prepare for school through dance. What began as two small classes in a local community hall has grown into six successful venues, plus a Magical Cheerleading Club, Magical Days Theatre School, intergenerational classes, themed events, dance parties, princess parties and school sessions. Today, Magical Tots inspires over 300 children each week through the magic of dance and performing arts.
Amy and the Magical Tots team aim to inspire children to explore the world of dance and performing arts. They ignite a love for learning, support school readiness and give every child a platform to shine. Through fun creative experiences, children build confidence, coordination and social skills in a supportive environment.
