Why We Run Intergenerational Dance Classes
Back in February 2024, Miss Amy first helped launch our intergenerational dance classes.
Nowadays, life is so fast-paced that we sometimes forget to look around us. However, we have so much to learn from those who have experienced it all before. That’s why this beloved programme also offers our Magical Tots dancers a unique chance to meet, interact and learn from a much older generation.
In turn, our little ones have lots to offer too, brightening up what may be an ordinary day with dancing, joy, music and laughter. Indeed, research from the University of Chichester found that children and older people both benefit from shared activities in care homes.
