Magical Cheerleading Club Devon and Cornwall
Magical Cheerleading Club (MCC) is a high-energy, dance-based cheerleading experience for children aged 4 to 11. Inspired by the sparkle and showmanship of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, our sessions blend dance, fitness and flair, so every child can shine.

Using pom-poms and upbeat routines, MCC classes boost confidence, coordination and creativity, all while having fun with friends. MCC is perfect for:

Our classes are also inclusive and supportive. Every term, our dancers also work towards community showcases and seasonal performances that celebrate progress, passion and teamwork.

What age group can join Magical Cheerleading Club?
MCC is for children aged 4 to 11, so from Reception right through to Year 6.
Do children need dance or cheer experience to join?
Not at all, because our classes welcome new dancers with no experience, just enthusiasm and a sparkle!
What should my child wear and bring to their first MCC class?
Simply bring comfortable clothes they can move in, trainers and a water bottle. We’ll provide the pom-poms for class.
Where are MCC cheerleading classes held?
First, our weekly class runs on Mondays in term time at Holsworthy Scout & Guide Hut HQ. We also run school-based clubs in primary schools across Devon and Cornwall.
What happens in a typical MCC class?
First, we warm up with music and movement. Next, children learn and practise pom-pom routines and cheer dance skills. Finally, we perform together and celebrate everyone’s progress.
Do MCC dancers perform in shows or events?
Yes! Every term, our dancers work towards community showcases and seasonal performances. They’ll also have the chance to join our Curtains Up show at The Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple, in July 2027.
