The 2025 Bradworthy Pantomime, Beauty & the Beast, was an incredible start to the year. It showcased the talent of our Junior Magical Days Musical Theatre School stars. This production was more than a performance. It celebrated confidence, teamwork and creativity. The children shone as singing and dancing waiters, waitresses and black-and-gold ‘Chip teacups.’ Their performances of Be Our Guest and Getting to Know You were vibrant and exciting. Audiences were captivated by their enthusiasm and stage presence. The glowing reviews highlighted their hard work and professionalism. These young performers proved the impact of theatre in fostering growth. Watching them embrace their roles with dedication and energy was inspiring. Clearly, this was just the beginning of an exciting year. Their joy on stage reflected the support and training provided by our musical theatre school.
Miss Amy and Miss Roisin: Leading by example
Miss Amy, our founder, and Miss Roisin, our magical teacher, were more than instructors. They were leaders. Both performed alongside the children during Beauty & the Beast. By doing so, they modeled the values of passion, confidence and preparation. Their presence on stage inspired every young performer. For many Junior Theatre Stars, Beauty & the Beast was their first time performing live. The children worked hard to learn choreography, master lines and develop their characters during their weekly theatre sessions throughout the Autumn term leading up to the panto. Step by step, their confidence blossomed. These young performers discovered the power of persistence and teamwork. Performing in front of an audience was challenging. However, each child rose to the occasion. The experience was rewarding for both the performers and their families. At our musical theatre school, we focus on helping children grow.
