Miss Amy

From winning Stafford's Got Talent to launching Magical Tots, my journey blends passion for the arts with early childhood education and creativity.

From Passionate Performer to Inspirational Dance Educator

My background and Education

Hi, I’m Miss Amy and I’ve always been passionate about the arts! It all began at age three when I was singing Spice Girls tracks, performing in school shows and taking part in local amateur dramatics productions. Over time, my dedication and love for the stage grew, ultimately culminating in my win at Stafford’s Got Talent in 2009! After this achievement, I had the incredible opportunity to work for Stagecoach Theatre Arts. From there, I pursued a First Class BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre, which gave me extensive experience in both performance and production.

However, my journey in education didn’t stop there. I went on to complete a PGCE in Primary Education, specialising in Early Years and English and earned the Graham Littler Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. During this period, I researched how the arts inspire learning—a passion that continues to drive me forward in my career.

Miss Amy was on a hunt for Cornwall and Devon Dance Classes

In 2020, after relocating to the beautiful North Devon, I welcomed my Magical Tot, Beau Valentine, into the world in 2021. As a new mum, I eagerly searched for local toddler dance classes for Beau. To my surprise, there were very few options available. Realising the need for toddler and early years dance classes, I decided to combine my teaching background with my love for the arts. Thus, Magical Tots was born—a space where children can learn through dance and creativity. My mission is to build confidence, inspire creativity and develop fundamental movement skills, while promoting active learning linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum.

Miss Amy and her Magical Journey: From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving magical tot community

Our magical journey officially began with the launch of Bradworthy Magical Tots in October 2022. Since then, we’ve grown exponentially, now serving over 100 children weekly across four fabulous venues and several local nurseries. We’ve also introduced intergenerational classes within the local nursing home. Additionally, we proudly launched a sister business, Magical Days Theatre School, which caters to primary school-aged children.

Stay tuned for more updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses into our magical world. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey!
